Social media users have slammed fashion model Denola Grey on Twitter after he said Nigerians are going to be outraged following the release of rapper Lil Nas X music video.
Recall that American rapper Lil Nas X released a new music video “ Montero” (Call Me By My Name) which has caused controversy online.
Reacting to the music video, Denola said he supports Lil Nas because he is doing something unheard of in the rap community.
He tweeted; “Lol Nigerians are going to lose their shit over Lil Nas X’s new video and honestly that’s their business. I Stan the young fellow. He’s doing something unheard of in the rap community. It’s going to mean so much to a lot of queer youth.”
A fan on Twitter, has asked Denola to come out of the closet if he is queer and that the model should stop stress Nigerians with his tweets.
Lmao alaye if you want to tell us you’re queer, just say it ni and don’t stress us. Since when did Nigerians start to GAF about Lil Nas and whatever he does in his videos. Plis plis 😭 https://t.co/ZXqbuSH4TO

There was a queer Nigerian man protesting last week, you didn’t say any word on it but somehow you seem to think Lil Nas X video is more important to Nigerians 😂 https://t.co/qOaV3V1OsT

Lool. If they lose their shit over Lil Nas new video, it won’t affect him in anyway, Dens.
Now, a Nigerian queer man was at ABJ protesting and you didn’t tweet in support of him when it can go a long way.
