Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, on Thursday, visited President Muhammadu Buhari weeks after the 2023 general election.
Rant HQ reports that Lalong, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC), met with President Buhari inside his private office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Speaking to State House correspondents after the meeting, Lalong said he was in the state house to formally invite the President to Plateau State to inaugurate some projects carried out by his administration.
He said: “They include six model hospitals, six model secondary schools and six model primary schools. Apart from that, I have completed many of the abandoned projects left by my predecessors.
“One of them is a giant British-American overhead bridge, the best High Court in the North is in Jos now, waiting for launching. I’m very proud of that as a lawyer.”
However, the governor failed to comfirm whether or not the President has accepted the invitation.
