Motorola Edge S has been launched in China, and it is the first phone to claim the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870.
Motorola Edge S features a 6.7-inch 21:9 aspect ratio Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate, powered by the latest Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB (8/256GB) of UFS 3.1 storage.
Looking at the cameras, it comes with 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel 100° ultra-wide front cameras inside the punch hole. The front camera also has a feature that can take a selfie for 15 seconds to measure the heart rate.
The fingerprint scanner is embedded into the frame of the phone.
The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 20W charging with the provided 20W adapter in the box. The Motorola Edge S is IP52 splash proof, has a 3.5mm headphone jack and comes with a charger, preinstalled screen protector, cable and a case.

The Motorola Edge S goes on pre-order in China today and will begin shipping on February 3. The phone comes in an Emerald Light color and is priced (US$ 309) for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, 2399 yuan (US$ 370) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage version and the top-end 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs 2799 yuan (US$ 432).
